Aku no Hana

Kasuga Takao is a boy who loves reading books, particularly Baudelaire's Les Fleurs du Mal. A girl at his school, Saeki Nanako, is his muse and his Venus, and he admires her from a distance. One day, he forgets his copy of Les Fleurs du Mal in the classroom and runs back alone to pick it up. In the classroom, he finds not only his book, but Saeki's gym uniform. On a mad impulse, he steals it.

Did you hear about those Japanese school girls that destroyed their class room? They threw chairs and tables out of the window and raged like crazy. It was because they read the manga Aku no Hana. Last spring season (2013) the Anime aired and the first season finished airing a few days ago! You want to find out why these girls disengaged?

Aku no Hana is one of the most intense brain fuck Animes I've ever watched. It will literally blow your mind off. In the beginning it seems to be boring with much to little plot and actions. The Anime convinces on a psychological level. Nakamura, a perverted and agressive girl, forces our protagonist (Kasuga) to become as crazy as she is. The way she does that is THAT manipulative that you don't even notice it at the beginning. But if you finished the first season and look back you'll see that every character changed very much in the course of time!

Another plus is the artwork! This anime seems to be so realistic that you come to feel like this could also happen to your very self. It changes your view of the world and you start thinking and get skeptical a lot. Aku no Hana forces you to feel with the characters and think with them. It throws you many conflicts in your way and together with Kasuga you try to find a way out. But you won't. Because there is no way out.
